Audio Puppy app for iPhone and iPad

Audio Tours by Audio Puppy is a free audio tour app that detects your location and automatically plays audio files, images and other details about points of interest within a walking tour or gallery.

It works in hands free mode, automatically playing audios as you walk around, but also allows manual intervention.

Audio tours are created and published by Tour Operators independent from Audio Puppy (and anyone can become a tour operator). These Tour Operators upload their tour details on our server allowing a new tour to become available at any time. These could be:
. art galleries
. shopping tours (chocolate shop tour, hidden bars tour etc)
. zoological gardens
. site seeing tours (street art tour, walking tour)
. botanic gardens
. community points of interest
. external light shows and art exhibitions

For individuals:

. download and find tours in your local area;
. we support both indoor and outdoor tours;
. tours operate hands free automatically detecting your location, playing audios and displaying additional information;
. autoplaying can be turned on or off;
. each exhibit may contain:
. an audio file,
. unlimited web page of addition information,
. full screen image;
. mark an exhibit as liked for later review or discussion;
. fading in and out of audio for better experience;
. shows google map location of each exhibit.


For Tour Operators:

. create your own audio tour without having to build your own app;
. exhibitions are setup and modified on your computer (no changes required to the app);
. extremely quick to setup your own tour by adding an image, audio, description and location for each item on your tour;
. your tour becomes available to your visitors immediately it is published;
. you can have multiple tours per exhibition (kids tour, multiple languages etc);
. for indoor tours we recommend and supply beacons (a bluetooth device for detecting location);
. for outdoor tours you add a GPS location for any item you wish to play automatically;
. tour items that a too close together can be chained together so they can be played without changing location (eg. painting vertically displayed on a wall);
. not all items need to be automatically played allow you to add optional extra item that your visitor can play if they are interested;
. supply your own audio files or allow us to produce them for you;
. you can add supporting information for every item such as a web page with details or a full screen photo;
. link your tour to your web page;
